Museum Masterline Batman (Comics) Deathstroke EX Version

Christmas shopping for a Deathstroke fan? For a mere $1000, you can get him or her a sharp as hell 30 to 36 inch (depending on accessory on display) Deathstroke figurine.

Here's the lowdown...
Prime 1 Studio is proud to present 1/3 scale MMDC-30: Deathstroke from DC Comics Universe.

In this comic version Deathstroke statue, you have more weapon options to choose such as right hand with Samurai sword or handgun and left hand with a sword or M4 Rifle. As more arm options, it’s able to switch out to several kinds of poses as you like.

For the head part, it comes with 2 alternate portraits both mask his ugly face. There is one more alternate portrait coming in the Exclusive version only, the mast with Half skull and Half mask. Deathstroke is standing under a Grim Reaper base design.
The above has that Google translate feel, doesn't it?

So what are your options?

  • Size approximately 30 inches tall holding sword [(H):75.3cm (W):61cm (D):64cm]
  • Size approximately 36 inches tall holding M4 Rifle [(H):89.5cm (W):61cm (D):68.7cm]
  • One (1) Grim Reaper Design base
  • One (1) Right-arm
  • Two (2) alternate Regular Portrait
  • Two (2) interchangeable Left-arms
  • One (1) interchangeable Left-hand holding M4 Rifle
  • One (1) interchangeable Left-hand holding a Sword
  • One (1) interchangeable Right-hand holding a Samurai Sword
  • One (1) interchangeable Right-hand holding Handgun
Man alive...Sure, you'll need to mortgage your house to afford it, but at least if includes every accessory under the sun. You'll never need another Deathstroke display again, so long as you can tolerate the New 52 version.

Deathstroke 1/4 scale Status by Stiven Trujillo Sanchez

I don't collect action figures, statues, busts and what-not but I do love coming across them and appreciate the talent a work involved.

I believe I was introduced to the piece below on Pinterest. After some digging, I found out that it is the work of Stivens Trujillo Sanchez. If you're dying to get your hands on it, well, you'll need to contact the man himself because it was apparently a custom piece. Can't get this one on Amazon.

Love the batarang stuck in the gargoyle and the rifle resting behind him. Excellent work. If you want to have a closer look, check out Sanchez' Art Station page.

Classic And Arkham 'Stroke From Iron Studios

I stumbled into the following figurine by Iron Studios while searching for upcoming Deathstroke trade paperbacks.

It was originally meant to ship in February of this year and I can only assume that it did. It is a limited edition item, made of polystone and hand-painted, based on art and design by Ivan Reis.

The detail is impressive enough on what is a pretty complex outfit, but the maskless option displays some quality work on that level too.

Iron Studios produced a Deathstroke figurine based on the Arkham video game series as well and the same applies to that one.

Judging from the Amazon listing, that one will come out early next year. These will run you about $120 to $150 U.S.

Mezco Toys Reveals Deathstroke Action Figure for mid-2017

Available for pre-order (for a cool $75) and expected to ship between June and August of next year, Mezco has revealed a 1:12 scale Deathstroke action figure. And it's rather awesome.

I can appreciate the logic behind the sleeker current version of Deathstroke, but I'm a sucker for armoured-up, weaponed up 'stroke. And this figure fits that bill.

So...Can I borrow $929?

Great Caesar's Ghost! Would you look at this thing??!

I don't play a lot of video games, but I did get the first three of the Arkham series. I was very much looking forward to seeing Deathstroke in Arkham Origins and thought they did a good job introducing him (and hinting at a larger role down the road in the "post-credit scene").

The blog so far has been about the character's comic book appearances, for the most part, but I have begun building pages specific to action figures and his various video game appearances too. That will include comic book versions of the Arkham games.

But this guy is so awesome, he can't wait for my slow ass to be done page-building. Feast your eyes on this 30-inch bad boy.

Downside: He'll cost you a cool grand and the interchangeable arm holding the Batman cowl is only included with an "exclusive" edition, limited to 750 pieces. There will be 1500 of the regular edition.

More details, and photography, on this page (which, mind you, gets the standard edition count wrong at the top of the page).
